These terms explain your use of VenueGazette and its digital venue research reports. Purchases are currently closed. The purchase provisions below apply when checkout becomes available.

Who we are

What you buy

VenueGazette provides online access to researched venue reports for event planning. Depending on the report, these include room and layout information, accommodation context, planning limitations and historical pricing comparisons. Check the preview and availability label before choosing a report. Missing or unverified information is identified where relevant.

We supply research, not venue reservations, event tickets, accommodation bookings or bespoke venue sourcing. Payments do not reserve a venue or give you a right to a supplier’s quoted rate. Contact venues directly for current availability and binding offers. Private emails and original proposal documents are not included.

Report credits and access

• One report credit unlocks one available venue report for one account.
• Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase. An unlocked report remains available for 12 months from its unlock date.
• Reopening that report during its access period uses no additional credit. Any updates we publish to it during that period are included.
• Packages are one-time purchases, with no automatic renewal or subscription.
• Credits are non-transferable report entitlements. They cannot be used for venue payments, transferred between customers or exchanged for cash, except where a refund is due.
• Only reports marked as available can be unlocked. A listing in the free collection does not mean a paid report exists. We do not promise a particular number or timetable of future reports.

Prices, payment and delivery

Package prices are shown in EUR on our pricing page. Applicable tax and the final total must be shown before payment. The order confirmation identifies the seller and the terms applying to payment. After confirmed payment, credits are allocated to your VenueGazette account and an access email is sent. You need an email address, an account, an internet connection and a current browser with JavaScript enabled; no physical item is shipped.

If your checkout identifies Paddle as merchant of record, Paddle is the authorised reseller and handles payment, applicable tax, receipts and transaction refunds under its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. IFS GROUP KFT remains responsible for the VenueGazette product and support. Paddle checkout is not yet active on this site.

Accounts and permitted use

Use accurate account details and keep your login private. You must be at least 18 or otherwise legally able to enter the contract. Business purchasers must be authorised to act for their organisation. You may use reports for your own or your organisation’s internal event planning. You may not resell or publicly republish reports, share account access, systematically extract the database, or bypass access controls. Third-party photographs and materials remain subject to their owners’ rights; report access does not grant image-reuse rights.

Research limitations and corrections

Research reflects the sources and enquiry assumptions stated in a report. Negotiated prices may relate to a particular date, group size, layout or package and may no longer be available. Estimates and currency conversions are planning references. Tell us about an error so we can investigate and correct it. We do not guarantee venue availability, supplier performance or an event’s outcome. Nothing here excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, or your rights where digital content is defective or not as described.

Refunds, suspension and complaints

See our Refund Policy for withdrawal rights and how to request help. A refund or reversed payment can remove the related credits and report access. Access may be temporarily suspended during a payment dispute or suspected misuse while we investigate; contact us for review. These measures do not limit lawful refund or dispute rights.

Send complaints to our support email with your order reference and a description of the problem. We will investigate and respond. You retain any right to contact the competent consumer authority or dispute-resolution body.

Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms for future use or purchases and will publish the effective date. Changes will not retrospectively remove paid access or mandatory rights. These product-use terms are governed by Hungarian law, without removing mandatory consumer protections or court rights available in your country of residence. Separate reseller transaction terms apply where identified at checkout.
