VenueGazette

Refund Policy

Effective 27 September 2026

VenueGazette sells digital research access. Purchases are currently closed; this policy describes the refund process when sales open.

Request help or a refund

Email ashley.harper@venuegazette.com with your purchase email, order reference and the issue. Do not send card details. We investigate missing credits, inaccessible reports, duplicate payments and reports materially different from their description.

Consumer withdrawal rights

EU/EEA consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from eligible distance contracts. Exceptions for digital content require the legally required express consent and acknowledgement; merely creating an account or reading these terms does not waive a right. Defective-content and other mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. We do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to our support email identifying the purchase and its date. You can use: “I withdraw from my VenueGazette purchase [order reference], ordered on [date]. My name and purchase email are [details].” No specific form is required.

Orders sold by Paddle

Where your checkout or receipt identifies Paddle as seller, its Refund Policy governs transaction refunds alongside your mandatory rights. Use the receipt’s support link or Paddle buyer support to request a refund. Paddle reviews the request and returns eligible payments through the original payment method where possible. Its policy explains applicable deadlines and processing periods. Product support remains available from VenueGazette.

What happens to access

Refunded purchases lose the related credits and report entitlements. A disputed payment may temporarily suspend access while it is reviewed. Partial refunds require support review so the correct entitlements can be adjusted. These checks do not restrict your lawful right to request a refund or dispute a payment.

One-time packages and expiry

There is no recurring subscription to cancel. Unused credits expire after 12 months; each unlocked report has its own 12-month access period. Expiry does not remove any refund or remedy required by law. If you cannot use an eligible report because of a service fault, contact us rather than waiting for expiry.

Research you can put into context

Know the basis

Capacities vary by layout. Allow for stages, screens and circulation. A researched venue is not a confirmed booking.

Compare carefully

Negotiated prices reflect a specific enquiry, date and event size. Read estimates and exclusions before comparing venues.
